Julia has her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and her Master of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education. While in school, she worked for her campus’s University Participant Program to help young adults with disabilities have an integrative college experience and develop independent living skills. Since graduation, she’s continued her work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, tutoring, and coaching.

Diagnosed with ADHD when she was 14 years old, Julia not only faced challenges of her own navigating school, but also watched her two younger brothers face academic and life challenges due to diagnoses such as ADD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia. Having a family that encouraged her to see setbacks as challenges that she could overcome gave her the courage to carve her own path, and she now she takes joy in helping struggling students do the same.

An optimistic person by nature, Julia can help others see the bright side in any situation and inspires through her positivity and enthusiasm. Friendly and approachable, Julia loves connecting with others and figuring out the best way to inspire and motivate them. She wants her students to know they are not alone, and they don’t have to accept any “box” they are put in.

Julia loves to travel and explore the great outdoors with her husband, backpacking, doing yoga, and snuggling with her cat Luna.
